Brooke Linn is a lifetime student with an undeniable love for children and learning. She grew up in endless miles of cornfield in Northern Indiana where she first discovered her love of writing through a library contest at age ten. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University and completed a Master of Fine Arts in Writing Popular Fiction through Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania. In addition to writing across the span of children’s literature, Brooke worked for several years in an elementary school as a second grade teacher, reading interventionist, and literacy coach. In 2011, she returned to her alma mater to guide students in academic advising and career planning. Between writing and work, she is an avid reader, loves to travel, and has a slight obsession with football. She lives in the heart of Purdue country in West Lafayette, Indiana, with her son and two very high-maintenance dogs.
